Weight loss during pregnancy

Hi all, currently 7 weeks into pregnancy and just wanted advice on how to safely loose a bit of weight before baby arrives.

I'm currently 13 stone but only 5'2 in height. This is the highest weight I ever get to before I loose a few stone but I'm worried about the additional baby weight and want to try and loose a stone or 2 to even it out a bit.

Has anyone successfully lost weight during pregnancy? Xxx

Yes. Not loads. I had it to lose, and the absence of boozing plus HG meant I was about ten pounds lighter the day of my c section, than the day I discovered I was pregnant. A few days after that I weighed myself and - obviously - I'd lost the eight pounds she weighed plus about another 7-10 pounds in water weight, placenta and probably some fat loss that I managed in those nine months.

You shouldn't try to loose it. You'll loose it through morning sickness probably or you just eat healthily to minimise gain.

Eat healthy and light exercise like walking. Don’t try to diet but healthy lifestyle might reduce weight anyway. I’m 20 weeks and still the same weight as 8 weeks.
