Pregnancy nausea hell

Hi all. I'm just over 9 weeks in to my third pregnancy and I feel horrendous 24/7. The nausea is constant. Waking up in the morning is ok for half an hour but then i have nausea all day. It's making me so so miserable. I've even completely pushed the babie's dad away as I just can't deal with anything else at the moment. I just want to lay in bed all the time. Anyone else going through similar? Just can't wait to feel normal again 🙄

Oh honey you sound just like me. I’m 7 weeks (3rd baby) and since week 4 I’ve had terrible nausea and sickness. Anti sickness meds have helped a little. Phoned doc today to report a “serious” side effect (says so on leaflet) and she actually suggested ginger water... can you f’ing believe it? So annoyed.
Now I’m getting horrid heartburn which is literally reducing me to tears. I feel like it’s been one great big shit show from the start and I’m just being a massive moany cow about it too 😂
Hope it passes soon for you 💖

Oh sounds like you are having a horrendous time. I really hope it eases for you soon. I haven't been sick once. Just constant nausea. I was thinking of trying medication for it as it is making me so so miserable. I'm hoping I am at the peak now and then it will relax. I can't even think straight with it 😔. I'm a money cow too. I think we have earned it! Xx

Do mention it to your doctor if it's being a huge issue, there are things that can help. Fortunately mine subsided at around 13 weeks, but I did find a few things helped:

  • If I was lying down I'd always have a bite of something to eat before sitting up, it seemed to help settle my stomach, and was actually great as I wasn't eating meals as such so made sure I was getting calories throughout the day
  • travel sickness bands helped, I didn't wear them at night though but during the day they seemed to make a difference, even if was just a placebo!
  • hard boiled sweets, I found sucking on one really helped if I was out and about walking or something, not sure why haha

23 weeks here and still like it. Not Physically sick though. Just nausea. I've learnt to live with it. Snacking little and often rather than large meals eased it a little.

I got the most terrible nausea with DD. Shes 12 weeks now.

But I knew all the stuff to try before I rang the GP out of desperation.

She prescribed me Phenergan and I took it all the way up till approx. 12 weeks. It didn't eradicate it completely but it did make it more bearable.

I was still sodding miserable but just less so 😂

I have found my people. I had such an easy pregnancy with my first and thought I’d have the same this time and 6 weeks hit and omg my nausea! Like OP its just constant and making me miserable, I just want to be in bed but have a toddler to run around after.

Ordered some bands, hoping they help a little.
