Worried about blood tinged discharge

I will be 4 weeks pregnant tomorrow (found out early). I've had chemical pregnancies before but my line had never become this dark.

I have been having a lot of watery discharge which has been brown/pink blood tinged. I sometimes feel it in my knickers (sorry TMI) so am wearing a panty liner to be on the save side.

Today I am 13dpo, due on my period tomorrow and can't stop panicking about the discharge.

What are your stories and is this normal?

I had the brown discharge the day my period was due and the day before, I've seen many people on here say they had the same and it's totally normal I would speak to a midwife though if possible just to be sure

I had brown/pinky discharge all through both my pregnancies (both babies absolutely fine), around the time my period would have been due.
It was always disconcerting but I learnt to just wait and see and fortunately it always turned out fine for me.

With both babies I was referred to the EPU for a scan at around 7/8 weeks. And with dc2 I actually had a sort of small 'gush' (sorry tmi) of bloody discharge while they were scanning so they told me they were quite confident it was OK.

I would second speaking to your midwife (if you've had your booking appointment) or GP though, even just as a reassurance.
