Should I be this big already?!

Hi, I'm a newcomer to Mumsnet.
I'm 8 weeks pregnant carrying baby number 7.
2 early scans have confirmed it's a single birth.
I'm showing already. Big time. I look 20-22 weeks atm.
Any other mum's who have had lots of babies and started showing early?
A lady asked me yesterday when am I due. THAT'S how big I am!!

Surely it’s bloat?

I’ve been huge since the start. At my 8 week appointment my midwife had to double check my dates, she thought I was nearly due. She said it was bloat and will go down but now 20 weeks and hasn’t gone anywhere.

I had a second scan to double check it wasn't a multiple pregnancy.
I've carried 2 sets of twins before so I'm thinking my body is getting ready...but I'm so big. And sick.

I’ve had three and got bigger each time. Still big now 🙀

It’s probably because your abdominal muscles have been wrecked by your six previous pregnancies.

Bloating is when your stomach is full of air, it's common in early pregnancy, also common when you have lots of progesterone in your system (again this is something that is produced in early pregnancy)

I'm on my second pregnancy my first was a singleton and this is twins, I started showing at about 11 weeks I'm now 24+3 and look like I was at probably 30 odd weeks last time. I appreciate this is a multiple but I didn't expect to be so big so quickly. X
