Hi,

Myself and my partner have just found out we're expecting.

We did a clear blue digital test which states we are 2-3 weeks pregnant.

I have been told that I should add 4 weeks onto this by some friends and family, to get a more accurate conception date. Is this true?

I had a period at the end of July but I had a very light period for 3 days mid August so I'm unsure as to class those 3 days as a period or implantation bleeding.

We can't get in touch with a midwife until mid next week so we're very confused.

Can anyone help? TIA

You would add 2 weeks on for your approx dates. So you would be 4-5 weeks. Congratulations Flowers

Congrats on your BFP! Your due date is worked out from the day of your last period - so probs 3/4 weeks further along to the clear blue test. Google “due date calculator” and that will give you a better idea before your scan :) xx
