Epsom Salts with Lavender

Hi everyone,

I'm 34 weeks today and have been feeling really rundown this past week but only in the evening ... a friend of mine bought me a bag of Lavender scented Epsom Salt a while ago and I haven't used them yet as I have been steering clear of using anything in the bath that is floral or includes essential oils.

But apparently they are meant to be really good for clearing away toxins and relaxing you.

Anyone used them whilst pregnant? Or has used anything with Lavender in it?

I got rid of all my Lush smellies when I found out I was pregnant as they have a use by date ... heartbreaking.

Thanks in advance xx

I bought some Epsom salts with a mix of camomile and lavender in them. They say on the pack safe in pregnancy. I find a soak at the moment is really wonderful for getting rid of my aches and pains and tightness in bump. I’m 39 weeks and would bathe every night if I wasn’t so worried for my water bill!

Lavender is safe in pregnancy as far as I know and can be relaxing. Don’t buy into anything that says gets rid of toxins though, your body does that on it’s own.

Sorry why do you need to get rid of products? I thought only Clary Sage wasnt advised?

I bathed every night with a myriad of lush products!

I wrote to Lush and their products are pregnancy safe! Sex Bomb has Clary Sage in it, so they single that one out as one to be cautious with.

Lavender is safe! Enjoy!
