Mucus plug

Hi guys! I think I’ve lost my mucus plug! It’s different to my discharge I have and is a snotty almost clear colour! So far I’ve had 2 blobs of it, I have a picture but not sure how I upload this for you to see! I’m 37 weeks :) does this sound like mucus plug? Thanks

Your mucus plug is usually a pinky colour.

I read that the bloody show is pinky/ streaks of blood and mucus plug is clear/ snotty like? X

Mucus plug can be clearish, seems to be a lot thicker and jelly like x

Your mucus plug doesn't always have blood in it. You are right that it's snot like consistency. Sometimes it's a big blob of goo.
Losing your mucus plug doesn't mean you're in labour but you won't be far off. Some Ladies lose their plug and it still takes a couple of weeks, some go into labour shortly after.

@BeingATwatItsABingThing mine had nooooo blood or pink . It was a clear blob of snot about the size of a golf ball .

Mines the same but it came out in 2 pieces literally one after the other... what happened form there for you? X

I was 37+1 and waters broke and I lost my mucus plug at the same time . I had my baby 49 hours later 😊

I always thought it had to be pink. Glad to know that’s not always the case.

I think there is a chance I lost mine today then. I really hope so.
