Expecting baby number 2

Any one else expecting baby number two? I'm 8 weeks and I have a 16 month old ds.
If so what are your age gaps? I'm nervous about the smallish gap but excited too!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi!

DS1 is 2 years 2 months. I'm booked in to have DS2 by elected c section on Monday. Nerves are kicking in now.

Good luck NJay

I'm 29 weeks and have a 3.5 year old. It's starting to feel very real now! I hope you have a smooth pregnancy Smile

I had an 11 month age gap between my first two and I love it! It had it's challenges but you adapt and I wouldn't change a thing.
They're now 2 and 3 and we're expecting baby number 3 any day now!

You'll smash it x

Congratulations! 29 weeks currently and DD will be just 3 when DD2 arrives.

JellyBellySmith · 12/09/2020 08:13

9.5 weeks - DS1 will be 2 soon, so about 2.5 year old when DC2 arrives :-)

I am 6 weeks pregnant and have a 10 month old. I'm absolutely petrified with the small age gap as this is a surprise pregnancy.

Oneandabean · 12/09/2020 08:15

I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant and my daughter will be 9.5 years old when baby’s born.

Flynn2019 · 12/09/2020 08:21

I am currently 15 weeks with DC2. My DS is 18 months today. Due 5 days before he turns 2. I wanted a small age gap but the toddler stage is way more difficult than newborn for us so we will see how it goes lol

ReggaetonLente · 12/09/2020 10:12

Yes! I'm about 6 weeks i think. DD just turned 2

MisiSam · 12/09/2020 13:39

It seems quite a popular age gap! I hope you all are having smooth pregnancys.

I'm 30 weeks and dd is 3 and a half, shes told me she's going to help me look after the baby so that's one advantage of a slightly longer age gap Grin
