Twisted pelvis - only 5 weeks?!

Hi guys. I wonder if anyone has experienced anything similar?
I went to the chiropractor today who said I have a twisted pelvis probably pregnancy related as the ligaments are stretching.
I've been having awful pain since Tuesday, and feels like sciatica from what I can gather. I've only had this once when I was a young teen. Chiro said it's probably putting pressure on a nerve because the left side of my pelvis is rotated and the muscles around it are tight.

I just feel like it's so early! Hopefully I can get this sorted before it gets much further along, but I just can't believe at just 5 weeks I am feeling like this already? And this amount of pain! I really hope it doesn't stay like this.

See your GP, in early pregnancy any pelvic pain should be medically treated. Ectopic pregnancy needs to be ruled out along with UTI.

Chiropractors tell nearly everyone they see that they have a twisted pelvis.
Ask your GP for a referral to the physio.

Also please make sure your chiropractor has training for treating women in pregnancy. Many do not. Others are extremely gifted.

Pelvic partnership website has a list of recommended practitioners and also some practical tips for managing pain.

yeah everyone is a little bit twisted. Was is a normal chiropracter or mctimoney? I see a McTimoney and apparently the difference is that they always look at the whole body whereas a "normal" chiro just treats the specific issue
