If you've had two children previous and suffered with it and now I'm due my third on Monday.
My consultant said you have s higher risk of getting it after s c section too.
Has anyone any experience or has anyone found ways to stop it happening?
Thanks

I plan to begin antidepressants immediately after the birth of DC2 in an effort to stave it off before it sets in again. Is this something you'd consider?

I have a long history of recurrent depressive episodes and had PND depression after I had DS so I think it's pretty much inevitable for me next time round

I was on so many different antidepressants and anxiety meds last time I think it was 11 in total and to be honest I just couldn't find one that suited me. I've not been on any now for about two years and I'd be very weary to try them again bit I would of I had too. I'm just scared that them feelings will come again and I'll miss out on my babies newborn stage all over again
