Hi all,

Currently 17+3 days pregnant. My partners just starting a new warehouse job tomorrow and I'm a bit worried about him bringing coronavirus home.

He will be wearing a mask but I know from speaking to my friends who work in warehouses that they don't bother a lot of the time to stay safe.

Anybody got tips to keep safe when he's home?

Thank you Smile

My DH has been very cautious with me being pregnant. He stays away from everyone at work, wears a mask and washes his hands.
When he comes home he strips off and his clothes go straight in the wash and he showers immediately.
Not much else he can do really!

We haven't taken any extra or special precautions. DP taking his clothes of before he comes in won't make a blind bit of difference.

My partner works in a school for children with autism so often gets spat at, physically attacked etc I’m 27weeks so starting to worry about the risk but guess all can do is keep cleaning and he comes home gets a shower and changes clothes.

There’s also a case in my daughters school. The child is not in her year group but again she’s lost months of school so I wouldn’t want her missing anymore. It is concerning though.

I'm pregnant and DH is working in the covid ward in ICU. He takes off all his clothes when he gets in and puts them straight in the washing machine, then has a shower. Wash at 60.

All you can do is wash your hands, hubby's clothes if it makes you feel better & just try your best not to worry about something you can't control!
I'm 22 weeks & have a toddler who goes to nursery & licks most things in sight so I'm past the point of worrying what my family may or may not bring home 😂

I’m 29 weeks and working in a job I can’t social distance in. Just being sensible and hoping to keep healthy.

I’m 28 weeks pregnant. My husband got Covid from his mum who died from it. I didn’t catch-it from him, and I’m convinced that him stripping clothes and showering before coming near me stopped transmission.

Make sure he washes/gels his hands regularly at work, wears a mask and minimises touching his face/mask. Then has a shower when he gets in.

I’ve worked throughout the entire thing in a warehouse with over 400 others. Currently 10 weeks pregnant. I have no worry at all I enjoy the sense of some kind of normality. Think I’d go out my mind if I had to isolate or whatever it is called now I can’t keep up with it all Grin
