Anyone had experience of bleeding at 7 weeks

Hi all, I am just coming up to 7 weeks and have had no bleeding until last night. It's light pink and only when I wipe. Not a lot, just like at the beginning of end of af.

I don't have any cramping and still feel exhausted but am so scared and have convinced myself that it didn't stick.

It would be good to hear others experiences with this.

Yup, about 6/7 weeks. Went to EPU, was told there wasnt a fetal pole and to go back 10 days later. Hes almost 7 now ❤ i was told i have a bicornuate uterus which was probably the cause

Yes. Also went to EPU for internal scan. That little baked bean on the scan is almost 9yo and much bigger than a bake bean now!

Aww thank you @gin4thewin and @chocdip that's really reassuring. Do you think I should go to the EPU or wait and see what happens? I have a private scan booked in for a week on Saturday.

I am 14 weeks today. I had light spotting (occasionally slightly more than 'light') from around 7-10 weeks. I had two early EPU scans at 7-8 weeks and all was perfect. Then I had private scan (was already booked so just went for extra reassurance) and saw the most amazing baby that had grown so much in 2 weeks and heard heartbeat etc! Since then I've also had my 12 week scan which was amazing.

I thought lots about the spotting (stressed big time actually as I've had previous miscarriages) and did plenty reading....which isn't always good!!! Anyway I concluded that the spotting could be to do with cervical ectopy found at my last smear! It all made sense! It was worse when pushing out a 💩 and that's a thing apparently!!

So I know how worried you are feeling right now OP and I wanted to share my story because not all spotting is bad news.

Best of luck with your pregnancy and stay positive 🥰xx

Ps they do suggest speak to EPU with any spotting so please give them a call, they're happy to chat and that can often be reassuring enough but they may well scan you to save you a week of anxiety and stress xx

Thank you @hellymum21 that is really reassuring because that's when I noticed the spotting (after 💩)

I rang the community midwife and she said not to worry at this point but to go straight to a+e if it gets heavy or I get painful cramping.

You're welcome, hope you can relax a bit until your scan 😊although I know that's easier said than done! X
