Faint positive? Possible accident... PCOS lady...

I have PCOS, so every month my periods are different, my cycle can be 32-47 days long! Because I’m always always late my husband and I quite often don’t use any pritextion to start with (he doesn’t finish without a condom on) during method the first week after my period (ONLY the first week) we have always felt this is fairly safe but maybe we are dumb 🤪

I’m now 28 days into my cycle and ...
I’ve had non stop egg white cm. My boobs aren’t sore but have gone up a cup. And I took a test this morning and got a really faint positive ... but then got a negative half an hour later after breakfast, coffee and water!

Could it be that I diluted the 2nd test?

Wouldn’t I have a really bold and obvious BFP if I had for once had a “normal” period and ovulated day 14?

And also isn’t this like hiiiighly unlikely that I’m pregnant anyway because my husband actually put on a condom before the end... so this would be from precinct (apologies for these gory details!)

Phew. Essay. Sorry. Any thoughts, advice, experiences would be soooo appreciated 🥰

Do another test with first urine, you may have diluted the second test. Also you can still get pregnant if you were having intercourse without a condom as sperm can be in the precum.
False positives are rare so take another test to be sure.

@Oneandabean thank you for replying!! ☺️I thought as much ... I really wanted to post a picture of my test but because I’m a new user it won’t let me for the first month 🙄

False positives are rare. You could well have just diluted your urine so it wouldn’t show positive on the second test.

I would take a digital test as it clearly says ‘pregnant’ or both pregnant’ ☺️
