SEVERE WEAKNESS

Hi just need a little advice/help. Since last night I have been feeling extremely fatigued with severe weakness in my body. I feel like I am going to collapse. I am 8 weeks pregnant and have been kept up last night due to severe hunger/weakness. I feel like my body is collapsing. I just arranged a midwife booking appointment appointment which isn't until the 23rd Sept when I will be 10 weeks. I need advice from a midwife/dr. I can't ring the GP right now as they take morning appointments only. I don't know what's happening to my body, I am really anxious and worried. Does anyone know what I can possibly do or where I can get help from?

Make sure you are eating regularly and drinking enough. I always have low blood pressure when pregnant which makes me feel like I’m going to faint. Also ring a midwife for advice, you should be able to google your local midwife number or ask your GP.

Thank you so much for the advice. I will try have a look for local midwives. Is there anything you did particularly to keep control of your low blood pressure? I think i may well have the same issue.

How often are you eating?

Oneandabean · 08/09/2020 19:14

Eating small meals regularly, drinking plenty of water is very important, if you feel wobbly lie down with your legs raised when possible

Have you ever had anaemia before?

Your symptoms are classic of anaemia. (Low iron)

Go see the GP ASAP and ask for a blood test.

Also are you taking pregnancy vitamins x
