Baby turning round & changes to kicking pattern?

This is random, but has anyone experienced a change in baby movements mid-2nd tri like this?

Basically I started feeling the normal little kicks/bubbles at about 20w. Last week (at 22w) I had a panic bc there were 3ish days where I didn't really feel those anymore - I felt much less, but occasional very deep juddering thuds super low down. People here were very kind! I suspected the baby had turned to face my spine and was now kicking into my body.

Anyway, it then seemed to go back to normal a few days later. But now at 23+3 I'm on the 2nd or 3rd day of those deep juddery feelings instead of proper kicks! They're much less frequent and harder to identify bc they feel more akin to gas...just much more internal than kicks, if that makes sense!

Has anyone had this, could it just be the baby turning round and then back again? I know they're still small at this point.

You're right OP that baby is still small at this point so they a turning and moving all over the place so their movements will be quite sporadic at that point.
A pattern usually forms around 24-25 weeks so at this point in time you sound normal to me.
However, any change in movement should be reported to your midwife or if you're really concerned then contact your MAU at the hospital and they will have you in to check baby out.
