Has anyone suddenly had Episiotomy pain 6 weeks PP?
I feel like Iv been punched in the area?
Like the scar tissue has gone tight.

Absolutely nothing visually wrong with it. 🤷🏼‍♀️
It's been pain free for weeks.

Mine goes a bit uncomfortable from time to time 18 months on.

If worried, get it checked!!!

Interesting. I think it maybe the band of muscle underneath it.. not sure tho. Maybe strained? Kind of how it feels.

I was checked out last week but didn't hurt then and all was fine :(
Being seen next week also for postnatal check up x

I had this. Turned out my stitches had burst open and healed again badly. No one checked me properly. Hurt for bloody months, took forever to get a gynaecology referral by which point it was too late, was told to just give it time. Eventually something went “snap” and it felt better (think it was a right bit of tissue). Definitely get it looked at ASAP.

Mine was a mess (it went wrong) and I had a tonne of scar tissue, I seen a woman's health physio for a few months and she gave me exercises to help break some of the scar tissue up. Scar tissue doesn't have the same elasticity as normal skin. I took a year to recover (but it really was a mess, it was an open wound for 12 weeks) but it's fine now
