Hi so I am currently 11 weeks pregnant have my first scan in 2 days I have been taking pregnancy texts from I found out to ease my anxiety after having a miscarriage last year, this morning I took a test and the second line was there but faint where as a few days ago it was as strong as could be just looking to see if anyone else has had this and everything gone on to be okay?x

Someone on here might be able to give you better advice, but my friend had to have an abortion at 6 weeks, and it did not show 'negative' on the test until about 6-7 weeks afterwards. So the fact you're 11 weeks gone, it seems unlikely that a test would reflect two different answers in the same week...could it be taken at different times of the day or you had more liquid for the second test? Either way you need to stop taking tests because it's not the answer. I'm very anxious and I've been having a scan every 4-5 weeks to pacify myself. As at least it provides me with a concrete answer xx

@Kstewart96 there's something called the hook effect, it's where the hgc becomes high and it basically causes the test to lighten, google it. My advice would be to stop doing tests xx

I’ve heard the same as Lollol86 said above.
I’m also 11 weeks and I wouldn’t dare take a test now as it would freak me out to see a negative or a faint line. I kept testing until I was about 6 weeks as I didn’t believe it but it wasn’t really helping anything.
