Miscarriage bleeding

Apologies in advance for TMI.
Sorting started earlier in the week, brown so I wasn't too worried. Then, midweek I started cramping & bleeding started. I went to A&E, had scans and was told I had a threatened miscarriage or I was earlier on that we thought. But we knew by dates that we weren't. I was sent home to see what happened.
I've had some backache & cramps, mild bleeding mainly when I go to the bathroom. Then today it ramped up, I'm getting more pain & I've started passing clots. It feels horrible and I'm not moving much as it just makes it worse. Previous miscarriage was earlier so bleeding was much lighter.
I just want this to be over, womanhood sucks sometimes doesn't it?!

Sorry you're going through this. It's so awful. I hope it's over soon for you. It's the worse thing. It's not the end of your journey, it's just a terrible end to this chapter. I'm sorry x

I'm sorry you are going through this. I'm currently going through the same, my bleeding started a week ago and got it confirmed as a miscarriage yesterday. It really does suck! Be kind to yourself and rest.

It’s awful. With my second miscarriage I Was only 6 weeks but oh my goodness the clots were insane.

I've just started in the last couple of days. Cramps are painful but only light bleeding at the moment. So worried about what's to come. Hope you're ok! It's horrible isn't it

This happened to me when I started to pass the pregnancy, if I were you I'd stay near the bathroom, hot water bottle and pain killers

I found with mine that once the bigger clots have been passed the bleeding and lain does subside, plenty of pain relief and a hot water bottle and take care of yourself. Xx

Thank you for the lovely messages, I ended up in A&E. I was filling pads in less than an hour so went in. I had to go through my reasons for being there so many times, but everyone I saw was really kind. I ended up in gynae after a few hours, had an internal & the neck of my womb is now closed & the bleeding has eased, so hopefully I'm over the worst. I've got a scan next week to check my womb is clear but I'm feeling better than earlier. Back us aching lots but I've taken painkillers and they've helped.
Hope everyone else is doing well. It really helped to read your messages. I had few cries earlier, it was hard being in hospital alone & having to wait around not knowing what was happening. I completely understand the COVID precautions but it does make it very lonely

Sounds like you'll be over the worst now if your cervix has closed over again, mc is totally kid understood in my opinion, it's not just another period is it. Lots of rest for you now xx

Bleeding & pain has unfortunately continued today. Still passing some clots but much less and lighter than yesterday. Thanks all

Am getting awful cramps but not much bleeding ☹️

I'm so sorry you are all going through this. this is my 3rd day of bad cramps and light spotting. Scare and uncertain of what's to come. I don't think I'm ready for the heavy bleeding.

Hi @mrsawhite & @ilikeboots how are you both doing? I'm bleeding a lot less now and clots are smaller and less regular. I have scan next week so I'm just hoping that gives me the all clear.

Doing ok. Had an awful day on Tuesday. The pain was so bad. But bleeding less now. So hoping the worst has passed. X
