Just that really - I am 39 weeks tomorrow and breech - wondered whether that makes spontaneous labour any less likely?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My sister was breech on her first child. Had been booked in for a section but went into labour beforehand (still got to hospital in time to have the section) No idea if that's unusual or not though!

My third was breach. Spontaneous birth at 37ish weeks. Just gas and air and born 30 minutes after my waters broke.

I went into labour with both my breech babies, both early As well. I made it hospital to have my sections.
First labour was fine but second was pretty awful, apparently your body can go into panic mode with a breech baby as less weight in bum to move baby down birth canal. I was having contraction after contraction with little to no break but never went past 1cm dilated.

Both babies were breach and came spontaneously

My third was breech and I went into labour at 39 weeks, before my booked c section. I had to have forceps as she was quite a bit bigger than their estimated 5.5lbs!.

Weren't into labour at 40+2 not knowing baby was breech. Didn't get past 2cm in 32 hours before they discovered he was breech

My second was breech and i went into labour at 39+1 a couple of days before my booked c section, still made it to the hospital to have my c section

No idea but My DS was breech and turned just short of 36 weeks . Then my waters broke a week later . The extra pressure from the head must have done that. Or maybe that would have happened regardless 🤷‍♀️
