Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this type of pain - I had an incredibly sharp stabbing pain in the round ligament area 2 weeks ago that lasted a few minutes. It eases afterwards but the skin felt sensitive - I spoke to the midwife who advised paracetamol. I have since had a growth scan for other reasons so I know there's nothing significantly wrong.
However since then the burning type pain in the same region has worsened, my skin on that side feels like it has a burn on it (you know that sensitive sensation, painful to touch).
I wondered if maybe I'd pulled / torn the ligament but the pain is quite superficial most of the time, I'm going to discuss it with my midwife when I next see her but wondering if anyone had any experience of this? Thanks!
