When did you go into labour with second baby?

Classic question I know, I'm currently 36+4 with second baby. DD arrived at 40+3 but that was following a sweep 2 days before which immediately gave me my show. Not allowed a sweep until at least 41 weeks this time. Was sent for a growth scan this time few days ago and she's measuring just above the 10th centile estimating 5lb 8oz so on the smaller side. DS weighed 8lb 3. I know often second ones are bigger, though it is a girl this time which can often be smaller? Guess I'm wondering if maybe as she's looking smaller, perhaps I'll be later as she'll take more 'cooking'? 😂 Though I know the scans are often wrong. Interested to here your stories and keep me entertained at least!

DD1 42 weeks at 10lb 4oz
DD2.. I'm 28 weeks and waiting, like you OP. I'm hoping this one comes earlier, doesn't need inducing, and isn't such a chunk.

DS1 42 weeks
DS2 38 weeks.

I think it's all about the position of the baby.

Both same size- 8 pounds 10.

Thanks all so far, seem majority second babies came earlier so here's hoping! I'm 36+5 today so very jealous of those of you who had yours by now! Currently trying every old wives tale and remedy going to get her on the move, I'm so uncomfortable!

On his due date . Older sister was earlier at 38 I was convinced he'd be Earlier so I wouldn't hold your breath ! Good luck x

First baby 38 weeks exactly
Second baby 38 weeks exactly!
Now waiting on no.3... I wonder if they will follow suit (I'm assuming not )

DD1 born at 40+5 7lb 9oz, currently at 40+4 with my second DC, no signs yet but baby hasn't engaged so I'm thinking it's going to keep me waiting, had a growth scan yesterday and was told baby measuring about 8lb 2oz.
