OK. Had unproteced sex last Sunday. Since then I've been feeling what I can only describe as weird. Have stomach pain like period pains, bouts of feeling sick (but not necessarily 1st thing in the morning), a bit dizzy at times, a kind of warm sensation in my chest and I have a taste like cigarette smoke in my mouth although haven't smoked for over a year. Is it just too early to be having these symptoms if caused by pregnancy isn't it?

I would think it is too early to be having these sort of symptoms yet, to teat you need to wait at least 14 days from when you had sex to get a reliable result, where in your cycle are you?

1st day of my last period was about 3 weeks ago. It does seem too early to be having these symptoms but not sure what else to put it down to.

pre menstrual? Are you trying hard to get pg? I found myself having all sorts of symptoms when I was trying.

it could just be a virus, there are lots about at the moment.

Sorry, but it's best to wait another week before you do a pregnancy test, it may not be accurate until then.

'I found myself having all sorts of symptoms when I was trying.'

Absolutely, I find I over analyse everything when TTC, things that I would usually ignore.

Not actually TCC - it's just not the right time. But it is possible that I'm reading too much into these symptoms, as it is something I'd really like. I'll just try to chill about it and see what happens!
