Positive test or evap line??

Hey all!
I'm in a pickle today...13dpo, normally period starts today but my temp was still up this morning and no sign of AF so decided to test with Clearblue early detection test.
Did the test, waited 4 mins(said 3 mins on the box), it stayed negative so I threw it in the bin and went back to bed. This was around 6.30am and I went back for a couple of hours.
When I woke back up I suddenly had a thought that I was supposed to wait 10 mins and it was a minimum of 3 mins! So I looked at the test again and this is the result. Now I'm confused as to whether it's a positive or an evap line!
I have since been to tesco and brought a cheapie test and done that which is also completely negative but my urine wasn't very concentrated so I know I need to wait until the morning again but I just wondered if anybody has had anything similar happen? Or any opinions! Thank youuu!

Positive test or evap line??

I would say that was positive because evaporation lines usually have no colour. I would test again in a few days with a pink dye test if possible. Good luck and I hope you get the answer you want

That is very clearly positive congrats

My current pregnancy I tested with the same test and it looked stark negative and I threw it away. I went back to look like 8 hours later and there was Avery clear second blue line and people told me it was invalid and possibly an evap line. I am now 10 weeks pregnant. On research it’s impossible to get an evap line with colour.

Congrats!! The second test u took would have been negative due to testing in the afternoon and not holding ur urine for 4 hours without drinking

I think positive but I would retest with a pink dye.
You don’t need to wait until the morning just hold your wee for a few hours. I got my first positive in the afternoon with a Pink cheapie - retested after 3 hours with a FRER and it was clear as day a positive.

That definitely looks positive. An evap is generally grey

FizzingWhizzbee123 · 02/09/2020 16:18

That’s positive

Wow! Thank you so much guys, I didn't expect so much of a response as I've never posted here before!
I think I'm just trying not to get too excited because I had an early miscarriage followed by a missed miscarriage, we've no children and we've been trying for the last 7 months without success (so far) so I try not to get my hopes up and I guess Im just struggling to be positive (pardon the pun! Grin)
Fingers crossed and thank you all so much for your reassurances!! Xx

You really should try a pink dye (FRER) clear blue aren’t as sensitive. Did you take a test today?

Cindi30 · 04/09/2020 15:35

@WholePlaceIsPickled I did FRER this am and yesterday afternoon. both negative Sad. I'm just waiting for AF now! Thanks for checking!
