I have just bought a jojo maman bump bandeau and it has 3 holes at the front. is the band meant to simply cover my unfastened trousers or should it be attached so that it pulls the zip together? sounds like a stupid question but i want to make sure i am wearing it properly. if it is meant to just cover the top of my trousers then why the 3 small holes at the front of the band?

Ah, it sounds like you're missing not only the instructions but also the two buttons sewn together which come with the bump band. If you bought it new, have a look in the packet again? You put your waistband button through one of the bandeau holes, and then the little button contraption they provide through another bandeau hole and through your waistband button hole. Erm, if you get my drift.

Don't worry if you haven't got the instructions or the specially provided buttons. I found it much easier just to put it on over my unfastened trousers (probably doubled up in the beginning to make it a bit tighter) and it should hold them up. Then as you get bigger you might find you don't need to double it over.

Incidentally I love my bandeau as I have been able to keep on wearing all my non-maternity tops without displaying large amounts of belly.

Good luck!
