Hi everyone!

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of the Mothercare 3 position baby carrier? My friend has offered me her old one that has never been out the box so thought I'd check to see if anyone knows how supportive they are while wearing?

I had a baby bjorn carrier 15 years ago and it would leave me with terrible back ache! So many different products on the market and at a much higher cost now compared to when I last needed one! Any recommendations welcome!

This is the one I have just bought as my friend highly recommended it. I haven't used it yet as baby not here yet but she said it was great for her and her hubby and very comfy

Oh that's great to know! I'll maybe just use my friends one instead of buying another then 😁

From the brief look I had of the Mothercare ones when I was in their stores they looked very similar to the Baby Bjorns, i.e. shite! I wouldn't use it. Not surprised the BB gave young bad back.

I love my Beco Gemini and have used it for years. Ergobaby is one of the best. Not sure if sling libraries are currently operating but if you can get to one that's the absolute best thing to do.

I started out with a Mothercare one, it wasn’t very good but it gave me the chance to try using a sling and see if I liked it. When I realised I liked the sling more than the pram I upgraded to a Stokke Mycarrier which I’m still using now at 21m!

So I’d say it’s great if you just want something basic to try out sling use and see if you like it. But if you know you’re going to be using a sling lots I’d get donething decent, even if second hand.
