Hey lovelies,

19 weeks pregnant with a little princess here and my 2 year old little boy (32lb) was running up and down the sofa just and fell straight onto my belly with his bum and it's given me belly ache.

Will baby be okay? Should I get checked or is baby well protected?

Thank you in advance xx

@jellybean218 I've not had experience of this but if it were me, I would probably call up the assessment unit and ask them, they might say its fine or they might want you to go in and be checked, either way it will put your mind at rest :) hope youre ok!

Agree, I'd call although I'd say baby is likely to be well protected it'll put your mind at rest.
Have you started feeling her move yet?

Babies are amazingly protected by the fluid around them, and expectant Mums have been jumped on by their toddler since the dawn of time, but it does absolutely no harm to ring up the midwife line and see what they think. They may just want to check things. No query is ever a silly query when it comes to a baby.

You should call your local maternity unit for advise. It's especially important if your blood type is negative as you may need the anti D injection. I'm sure baby will be fine but best to give them a call Smile

Thank you all so much for replying! I just didn't want to make a mountain over a mole hill was all. I've felt her move since around 16 weeks from flutters and now little kicks. I'll give my local MAU a call. Thank you again! Xx

Ask for a KB blood test, just to be on the safe side. Hope all is ok.
