Hi ladies,

I'm booked to have an early ultrasound tomorrow (I'm between 5+4 and 6 weeks).
Obviously the scan will be a transvaginal one.
Does anyone know if there is a risk involved with this type of scan if I have bacterial vaginosis? I havnt been diagnosed with it but having slight burning today and I'm such a worrier!
Sorry for TMI!!

No risk, don’t worry.
Doesn’t usually cause burning though - do you mean thrush? Also no risk but perhaps arrange a swab and some treatment if you are worried about discharge.
Hope your scan goes well :)
