We are currently ttc #2 our ds turns 2 in October. I desperately want another baby but always have in the back of my mind what the age gap will be like so I’m interested to hear from people with the same age gap!

There is a 2.5 year age gap between me and my sister Smile

As children we alternated between best friends and worst enemies (but we never fell out for long).

Overall it felt pretty ideal. I always had someone to play with and we have always been at similar stages in terms of interests... perfect for days out as children and for supporting each other with uni ect as adults.

Plus we are still best friends today Grin

(Of course there's no guarantee that siblings will like each other regardless of the age gap!)

Good luck!

mine are 2.5 years apart. I think any age gap has its pluses and minuses. Closer they are in age can be hard work when young but still can enjoy the same things whereas a bigger gap you have issue of older one not wanting to do baby things and younger one wanting to do what older one is doing. I have found 2.5 ok most of the time. They get on but can fight when they want to but heaven help anyone who upsets the other one as they stuck up for each other.

My dc are 2.5 years apart. I’m pretty happy with how things have turned out.
