Was told baby was a girl at a private scan check up at 15 weeks. At my 16 week hospital scan I was told it was likely a boy. My doctor wants to wait until my 20 weeks scan before ordering blood work to determine the gender.
My baby insists on laying with his knees pulled up along with my placenta being low so causing shots to be grainy.
The labelled image shows what the doctor walked me through as Possibly buttocks, bladder and penis. Apparently bladders cannot be seen on girls and boys can also have 3 lines (it’s all about if the genitals descend down the femur or not in that case).
In the picture with the green line, the green is following the cord so the highlighted line looks like it could be a boy part falling to the side due to positioning (baby laying on its side with top leg pulled up)
And the classic shot doesn’t show a A clear enough nub (I know nubs aren’t 100%)
Just wondering if any of you have been told the wrong gender during scans?
Anyone had blood work done to confirm?
Do any of these pictures look like your ultrasounds?
Just trying to settle my mind a little.
Thanks to anyone who replies 💛
