Pregnant after recent miscarriage

So lady’s I had a miscarriage July 26th bled for a good 11 days then stopped then had spotting all tests went negative

I got a positive today and had no period so anyone else been this situation?
How did you date the pregnancy thanks in advance

Hi @Allgirlmum so sorry to hear that but congratulations! I am in the exact same position as yourself. I was 6 weeks and then miscarried on the 26th, I only bled for about 5 days. When I got my positive this month I rang my gp and they dated it from the day I started bleeding which was the 26th same as you which gave me 2nd may

Same as you @Allgirlmum I had survival managment for a mmc on 27th july. I got my negative 5th August, and got a bfp on Friday just gone.

Having some extra cramping atm with a tiny bit of brown discharge which is freaking me out a lot.

Congrats ladies on your positives! This is exactly what happened to me!
I miscarried at 8 weeks 29th jan. got a positive start of March without having a period.

I explained this to my midwife - she put me in for a scan using the date of my mc as the date of my last period. They didn't mind at all that I couldn't give exact dates.

I ended up going to my 12 week scan and finding out I was only 10 weeks. I then had to go back a few weeks later in order for them to do NT tests etc as baby was too young before.

Im now 29 weeks with a little boy 💙 and everything has gone well. A midwife has said to me the body seems to be super resilient going straight into a second pregnancy and the pregnancy is more likely to be sticky. I hope this is the case for all you ladies too!!

The only downside is I feel like I've been pregnant since forever!!!

@Sansa87 I would be worried to when I had my loss my body took ages to naturally let the pregnancy go so I’m completely paranoid this time rest up and get seen if your worried lovely

@Allgirlmum I guess I’m “lucky” where the medical management didn’t work, they went straight to the surgery, which was successful so my body was back to default setting.

I’m very over sensitive to every twinge atm. I’m very worried, and not seeing a positive outcome, but then I’ve never experienced the positive outcome so for all I know this is what leads to it.

I did a clear blue digital it came back 2-3 so I’m shocked as this means I ovulated instantly

I’m doing okay Thankyou. Work is killing me, I’m so exhausted, but I wake up 4am on the dot every morning 🙄

Got waves of nausea throughout the day. Making sure I don’t moan, as I’m hoping that’s a good sign.

I’ve been too much of a coward to test with the DIgital week one.

@Sansa87 oh gosh that is early I’ve found myself waking here and there in the night but I try to get to bed earlier now

Good news about the nausea I’ve had it randomly here and there nothing daily I’m exhausted mostly still feeling incredibly paranoid x

@Allgirlmum sometimes I feel a little positive, but then other times, like since I’ve got home from work, I’ve almost felt like a dread, & I’m terrified I’m going to lose it again.

I’m also a bit sad, We only got engaged in june, & my ring has suddenly become tight in two days! I’ve put on a couple of stone in last few months after giving up smoking, so whilst I’m probably now a healthy weight as opposed to underweight, my fingers look like sausages. 😔
