Any signs or symptoms just before labour

Just out of curosity now I'm near the end, did anyone get any signs or symptoms or feelings before labour started or did it just come on suddenly?

I had a strong feeling in the morning that I was going to give birth that day. I remember calling DH in work and telling him to get ready!
I had cramps and bh most of the day and the typical clear out. I was also off food and had craving for full fat Coke lol

The only way I can describe it was unjust felt odd, and then, if I'm putting it delicately, evacuated every bit of everything that was in my bowels and I assume intestines contractions started about ten minutes later.

I don't remember feeling off. I had my show a week before, I had a day where I had labour pains throughout the day but then they stopped by the evening. 3 days later when getting up to go to the toilet I just felt my waters pop. Three hours later contractions started.
