Sharp pain in left side, 5 weeks.

Hi everyone. I’m 5 weeks and 1 day roughly. I had a pain in my left side all day that got worse as the day went on...
I wouldn’t normally worry as I know it can be stretching.. problem is I’ve been having these pains in my side every time I ovulate/have a period. Can anyone help or know what to do?

It might be worth contacting your EPU to see what they suggest, they might want to check that the pregnancy is in the right place and rule out an ectopic.

I had similar last pregnancy before my MC and they thought it was ectopic then it turned out it was a cyst on an ovary that was causing lots of pain.

I’ve been having this pain (Almost) twice a month for the last for the last few.. that’s why I haven’t already called epu. I’ve brought this up to my gp’s many times but no one seems interested

I would also call the EPU and did... they scanned me at 6weeks just to make sure the pregnancy wasn’t ectopic.
It wasn’t.
Turned out to be hip pain from the hormone change...! Always better to be safe than sorry!
It doesn’t matter that GP’s haven’t listened before, you are pregnant now and it needs to be taken seriously.
I wouldn’t mention to the EPU you’ve had the pain before and just talk about what your are experiencing in pregnancy. ❤️
