I know that the mucus plug is no real tell tale sign of labour but I'm intrigued to here other women's stories?

I've been loosing mine over the last 5 days with 3 MASSIVE blobs (sorry tmi). It's deffo the mucus plug and not discharge just wondered how long I could possibly loose it for? How bloody much is up there???Hmm

The biggest piece was lost today, quite hefty. Is it regrowing and falling out again?

Thanks in advance

I think it can regenerate, not sure how quickly though. I lost mine 8 days ago, mainly in one day, but a little bit more 2 days ago and still no baby!!

So with my first I was not prepared for this.... And wasn't anything anyone told me about so was like omg what's going on it was like the most vile thing ever and virtually filled my hand 🤢 labour comenced about 8 hours after....

Second baby... I was prepared and waiting.... Nothing!! Not a thing labour started and to be honest was a blur... So i guess at some point during labour 🤔

Third baby..... Again nothing labour arrived without the 🤢 mucus plug...

Suprise number 4 and I'm willing a mucus plug into my life!! Like it's a sign send me a sign!! 37 +4 and with the weight of this baby I think this mucus plug is steel lined!

Surely we can come up with a better name 😂 cervical Cork 😂

@Louisg 39+3 - second pregnancy. You?

MissingSilence · 30/08/2020 17:50

Mine came 2 days prior to my waters going, and then I was induced as things were too slow to progress after that. All went lovely in the end though - but I remember meeting that jellyfish very well 😂. Hope all goes well for you!

@Avearage my god. Cervical cork is a fantastic swap!!! Must remember to mention it to the people in charge at my next appointment

@MissingSilence thankyou!

@TwinkleStars15 37 4+
