Hiccups

I'm 27weeks and every day the baby has hiccups.. they can last from 1minute to 20minutes.. i feel hiccups more than kicks.. is that normal?!

I had hiccups religiously threw out my pregnancy and now my ds has them after all his bottles x

Mine has hiccups most days, and has done since I could feel her move.

Yes absolutely fine :) mine started at around 27 weeks and she does it everyday sometimes twice a day for around 3-5 minutes! I’m now 34 weeks! I queried it with my midwife and she said not to worry, it’s just them practicing their breathing and getting a bit of amniotic fluid in their lungs - which is normal!

How do fetal hiccups feel? I have just started to have some movements. Would love to know how their hiccups feel.

Dd1 rarely kicked, she had so many bouts of hiccups though!

Wasn't until about 30w that I could feel her roll.

Yes my boy seem to have hiccups constantly! My tummy was always jumping.

My little one has some hiccups mosts days. I think it’s normal but I’ve heard we can’t count them as movements.
@MnM156 they feel like repetitive movements in the exact same place for a couple of minutes not as strong as your usual movements.

I'm 36 weeks and from about 32 weeks baby gets hiccups 2-3 times a day!

Yup! Currently 36 weeks and my baby has them right now actually! 2-3 times a day every day!
Perfectly normal. Especially when they start learning to swallow you will get it more frequently

DS has hiccups all the time! I remember him having them when I was 18 weeks!

I don’t think DD has had hiccups once so far in this pregnancy and I’m 31 weeks.
