Hi

I'm just wondering his comment it is for skin tags and genital warts to grow during pregnancy? Since becoming pregnant I've noticed some skin tags coming and growing in size. It makes me feel uncomfortable in general and during intimate moments. I've had them checked out but the doctor said after birth I can start treatment however I'm not okay with this and I'm looking for a second opinion as I've now noticed something similar looking on the inside of the vagina. It's affecting me mentally and emotionally and I just want testament. I've even contemplated cutting them off myself.

Has anyone been through this and what's your experience also can you get genital warts without sex? Like being pregnant creates a lot of hormone changes

All in all I'm paranoid and ashamed because they seem to be coming out of nowhere

X

Same here will be seeing my doctor ASAP about them! Never had them before or in my last pregnancies so you're definitely not alone x

If it is genital warts pregnancy can make them appear suddenly when you've never had them before.

Not a lot of medication can be given for them so they will be frozen off which isn't a pleasant experience. They will most likely go during or after pregnancy has finished.

Go get them checked out. Don't feel embarrassed or ashamed!

Omg I was getting paranoid thinking my other half had been up to something but at the same time I know he never would cheat. Hopefully if that is the case then it's just pregnancy thank you for your reply x

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Thought my body was doing something very abnormal! when I went to my doctor I told it will most likely be removed after birth but there's absolutely no way I can wait that long! They need going now. Deffo go to your doctor and pressure them if you must to get some form of treatment! Let them know it affects your confidence etc x
