Hello I'm 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant after a MMC in May (this was my second mmc) yesterday I had pinkish colour in my discharge and today slight brown. I'm really worried has anyone any had the same with success story?

@Furbabymum15 6 weeks is about the time I had pink and brown discharge, it's all the old implantation blood coming out. Takes that long!

Furbabymum15 · 29/08/2020 18:30

@33muma really? That's a good enough reason I'm still petrified incase it gets heavier though xx

Hey. I had this at 4, 8, and 12 weeks. Have been told it can be a hormonal surge which can continue right through pregnancy but is most likely to stop by the 2nd trimester. I was 16 weeks a few days ago and I have been expecting another show of spotting but it seems to have stopped now. Xx

@Furbabymum15 unless it's bright red blood and constant then you need to relax, because you're going to get brown and pink discharge at many other points!!

There is so much they don't tell you that happens, you'll get bits of mucus plug from 13 weeks as it replenishes, green discharge, multiple thrush, clear liquid that comes out at random times and soaks your knickers... just stay calm :) :) x

OnNaturesCourse thankyou that's reassuring... Congratulations xx

I had quite a bit of spotting from 8-10 weeks. Two scans showed growing baby and healthy heartbeat. I later remembered that my last smear showed I had cervical ectopy and after some googling I realised this was most likely a cause! Like others have said there can be many many others reasons and it's hard but it can just be 'normal'

Hope your pregnancy goes well x

Hi all I’m going thorough a bit of a rough time with spotting yesterday and today at 9 weeks. I had it at 4/5 weeks too. However I’ve also had uncomfortable cramping? It’s dying down now but anyone experience that?

33muma · 30/08/2020 08:20

@mrsfitzyj the cramps are the worst at that time, sometimes it was so painful I'd have to walk around and pace the room x

mrsfitzyj · 30/08/2020 08:33

@33muma really? That makes me feel a lot better. They’ve been intermittent since Friday night but when the hit they can be intense. Have some spotting too - mainly brown mucus but after doctor prodded at my belly last night to check it had a little bit of fresh red blood. Pregnancy test is still very positive doc said and have all my symptoms. Going for scan on Monday to check everything x

33muma · 30/08/2020 14:48

@mrsfitzyj
I'd wait for the scan tomorrow, because it will just put your worries to bed! But yes the cramps can be very painful. I think the usual rule is that if you change positions and the pain level changes then it's a good sign. Good luck with the scan! X

@Furbabymum15

How horrible for you. Have you had a scan yet?

Furbabymum15 · 31/08/2020 11:07

@33muma I've been scanned this morning it's a miscarriage there's nothing but a collapsed sac and a lot of blood. I have a rescan next week but they said I will bleed full flow before then. I it's just protocol to do it xx at least now with 3 miscarriages I might get help x

@Furbabymum15 so sorry you are going through this. I just wanted to offer some hope, I had 3 losses and was sent for tests, discovered I had a condition that causes miscarriage that was treatable. Fell pregnant again was closely monitored with treatment and now have a lovely 1 yr old. Look after yourself and stay positive xx

33muma · 01/09/2020 12:45

@Furbabymum15
You poor thing, I'm so sorry. I hope they monitor you from the very beginning when you next get a positive, it will happen I'm sure Thanks x

Furbabymum15 · 01/09/2020 19:03

@yukka thankyou so much that was exactly what I needed to hear x congratulations on you little one.
