OH MY GOD!!!! whilst I'm so grateful to be pregnant and my pregnancy to date has been a breeze for the most part but I'm coming up to 36 weeks and I can't take anymore!
I can barely walk, my stomach feels like it's going to split open it's that tight, my feet and hands are so swollen and my carpal tunnel is so painful and fuck me im so fucking tired!!!
Whilst I've come to realise the lack of sleep is given and won't be going away any time in the next few years the rest is becoming insufferable!
I just want to cry 😭😭😭

39 weeks on Monday and totally relate to your post.

Itisbetter · 28/08/2020 22:56

I felt like this for the last weeks of all my pregnancies. Every day helps, and gives so much to your baby. Hold on, it really is worth it.

wishing3 · 28/08/2020 22:59

Oh crap, reading with trepidation at 29 weeks...😬

calimommy · 29/08/2020 04:46

End stage third trimester is awful. My commiserations. It feels never ending but of course it does end. Being comfortable is nearly impossible no matter what you try. Im expecting my 4th baby and it's the part I'm least looking forward to. Xx

Avearage · 29/08/2020 04:59

You got this!!
I'm baby 4... Sleeping is actually better once baby is here as you get quality sleep not like now where every move is like a 99 point turn. I've got really bad cramps in my hands that are making me unable to pick things up to which my child shout the claw the claw 😂😂 it happens everywhere today tesco I'm left trying to pick up the bottle of pop whilst my dear children laugh at me copying my hands shouting the clawww 😂

I think I've become obsessed with watching my husband sleep...he occasionally wakes up to see me in the dull glow of my mobile reading everything and anything about pregnancy I mean this is number 4 if I haven't had enough experience god help me!! I was also unaware of how much wind a one human can pass at night between that and his snoring I wonder how I actually ever slept before 😂

I was having important phone conversation and my daughter was bored and noisy... So to keep her entertained I showed her how my legs pitted and shaped from being swollen...... That was a peaceful 20 min 😂 she prodded n poked shaped for ages....

It's not long I'm 37 +3 end is in sight grit teeth... Smile.... Find the humour in what remains ☺️

39 weeks today and feel your pain - if I'm lying down still and comfortably I can kid myself that I could do this for another 2 weeks... Then I try to get up and remember how bloody difficult everything is, @Avearage hit the nail on the head with '99 point turn`! Rolling over in bed is the most difficult/painful thing ever, let alone getting up for a pee!

My belly is so stretched that the skin on the front of my bump is actually numb - despite every cream/oil invented my stretch marks are horrendous and itch more than anything I've ever known so it takes all my power not to claw my skin off daily.

Oh and the piles... Don't get me started on the piles!!!

(Disclaimer: I am very lucky and grateful to be pregnant)

Ladies I am crying with laughter! @average you're so funny but it's so true! Especially the 99 point turn in bed!
I've taken myself off to the spare room so both and DH have more room and he can sleep and I can at least try as I have more space!
We've been out and about today and I already feel like a needs a weeks sleep!
4 weeks and counting! 😫😫😫😬😬😬😬

I know it's not sleep and we all think about money but maybe book a pregnancy massage? Some spas have special tables with a hole in so you can actually like "on your belly"

Might just give you a boost x

MrsMyreton · 29/08/2020 20:10

37 weeks with second. Solidarity! Thanks

lockdownpregnancy · 29/08/2020 20:49

@serialplanner funnily enough I have been having a look for one. I finish work end of this week so was going to treat myself if I can find someone local! 🤞
