Please don't all laugh at me or judge me for posting this, but what's everyone doing with their downstairs hair for labour. I'm 36 weeks and Although I can't see it, don't think it's ever been this hairy before 🙈 now bump is so big even with a mirror is difficult!

Does everyone just go with it or have a wax or have a go at trying to shave yourself?

At 37 weeks, I decided to have the sort out I’ve been putting off just in case this baby decides to make an earlier appearance. I can confirm that my bump made this nearly impossible and fairly traumatic. Who knows what it looks like down there!

I had a little trim in early labour both times, I did ask my husband to do it but didn’t trust him so I literally just got the really embarrassing bits that grow a little wild and left the rest. Some places won’t wax you heavily pregnant anyway.

I must say though, I really couldn’t have cared less if there was the amazon rainforest down there once things got going!

Yeah, I got DH to give me a light trim, only because it had got so long you could almost plait it.

I just stick some hair removal cream on which is probably exactly what you’re not meant to do, but it works for me and avoids any acrobatics.
