Large baby stores within London

Hi All

New paren-to-be here.
We live in SW London and recently started looking at cribs online. We have found a few we really like but would love to see them before we make any purchases online.
Grateful if any parents can recommend really large retailers within London (M25) with a good variety on baby nursery furniture & are affordable that we could check-out to see some options? We are aware of Mamas & Papas in Croyden, but the rest we have found are hours out of London & just too far. Any recommendations on larger stores welcome please.
Thanks so much

We went to Mamas & Papas in Westfield White City which had a good selection of prams. I think there is a M&P in the Stratford one too. Also John Lewis Oxford St baby level is pretty good with different brands of cribs etc so you could try there.

JL in bluewater or is that too far?

Check out Baby Nest in Croydon.

There is a John Lewis and Stokke side by side in Westfield White City. There is also Huggle in Swiss Cottage but when I went they wouldn’t let me in as I hadn’t made an appointment (their website said you only needed an appointment for demos and I didn’t need one) so I was a bit miffed.

Mamas and Papas and JL in Westfield Stratford - the nursery/baby section in the JL is great

Natural baby shower is great. There's lots to look at so you can really get a feel for things. It's outside of the M25 but only just.

@BurritoBumpMamma IKEA. By far the easiest I found. I have been to Westfield, to some other big malls but they have almost nothing of use. John Lewis on Oxford St. was another semi-good one.

We did a personal shopping session at mamas and papas croydon which was good.

Peter Jones used to have a decent baby department but my knowledge is a few years out of date.

Definitely agree with the PP who suggested IKEA. WELL worth a trip and you could combine with M&P in Croydon.

Thanks for all the recommendations everyone.

I second Westfield White City for checking out prams but once I’d chosen mine I bought online - shopping around for a good bundle deal.

I also second IKEA, we got our cot bed and Nursery furniture there, and it’s great. (Although I got an M&P mattress on sale for the cot). I have a white set of malm drawers and a white kallax unit for toys and books. Simple but it’s all we need.
