Hi all!

I'm 15+2 today and I'm getting really strong uterus pains that feel like they're going up to my belly button and appear on both sides over my uterus/ovaries, IS THIS NORMAL? Shock

The stretching feels like it lasts for about half an hour at a time, not sure if it's supposed to but it's not constant, it comes and goes every few seconds, does anybody else have this? Hmm

Thanks for your replies!

Sounds normal OP. I’ve just actually winced in pain because of mine when I turned on my side. J remember my first pregnancy because no one ever tells you what to expect with round lineament pain. Also don’t stand up to quickly either, you’ll be greeted with a crippling pain that is your
Ligament, in case it happens and you panic 😂

@Cupcakefairy12 I seem to get them even when I don't move, is this still normal? Confused I also feel like I have a numb lower back at the same time if that makes sense, like a very dull ache

All sounds normal. Is this your first pregnancy? Nobody tells us about the aches and pains we feel and I think we are so super sensitive to any kind of feeling in our stomachs when pregnant we just assume it’s not normal. I was very anxious with first and thought something was wrong constantly. It really sounds ok to me but if in doubt speak to your midwife. They would rather you call and check even just for your own reassurance then sit at home worrying. 🤗

For me it felt like someone was stretching everything from my groin to my liver on a rack. Not much fun!

@Cupcakefairy12 haha yeah it's my first so I'm a worrier! I saw baby on scan a few days ago and baby was dancing around! Star I will mention it to my midwife who I'm due to see in a couple days anyway. Thank you for your help Flowers

I get them when I turn in bed, and even when I sneeze/laugh too hard.

Bloody smarts!
