First time mum, on a budget really £200 is max can go for car seat. I read good things about Joie I level the 157 angle etc but then people on Mumsnet said there baby was squashed by headrest it’s too heavy to carry. So for £200 is this car seat not worth the money?

We loved our i level! Just switched to the next car seat at 20 months but DD is very petite. She always was very comfy in the i level. I don’t think it was too tight or uncomfortable on her head at all.

It is a heavy car seat! We never really took it out of the car so that wasn’t an issue for us though.

Hi @Rafagirl, congratulations first of all and I feel your pain with the budgeting - there’s a lot to think about isn’t there!

We have bought the Cybex Cloud Z and honestly I am already so excited to use it! It was recommended to me and although I think it’s about £225 perhaps wait to see if any offers come out anywhere..it depends how long you’ve got to play with though I guess!

Oh @Rafagirl ignore me I’ve just noticed the one you’ve asked about comes with the base in budget whereas ours didn’t!

Following as we’re considering the I level. From what I’ve read, I haven’t heard many bad things about it at all. I think I’ve mention that the headrest can be a bit snug on older babies and yes, it is heavy but whether that’s a negative will depend on how much you plan to carry baby around in it.

I haven't had a joie I level, instead I opted for a maxi cosi peeble. However, I just want to say that what works for some doesn't for others. Especially with baby products, u should go to a shop and have a look at it and see what u think. I am sure plenty of people have loved the car seat
