Early scan worry

I had an early scan and my gestational sac was empty and already had a mean size of 22mm, I'm now worried that there will be no baby. They have told me to go back in two weeks, as they think it may be too early. I'm so worried now, I've known I'm pregnant for 4 weeks.

Doctors said 10 weeks, however I think I'm only 5 weeks.

When you say you’ve known you were pregnant for four weeks, what do you mean? That doesn’t match with you thinking you’re 5 weeks. But with that measurement could still all be fine - empty sac over 25 mm is concerning, under 25 mm could just be too early.

So are you 7-8weeks now if you've known for 4weeks? I'm a little confused on timelines. I only say because there is a giant difference in what to expect on scans within the 5-10 week timeframe. For instance if you were 8weeks then you will expect a baby-shaped foetus with a heartbeat. I've had several MC, including a blighted ovum, I hope that's not your case.
