6 weeks pregnant after 3 Misscarriages

Hi everyone,
So I’m 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow and happy to be pregnant again, but terrified of misscarrying again! With my last 3 I only made it to 5 weeks, so i am feeling slightly more hopeful but still such early days Confused I have constant niggles and cramping which from reading on here I know is pretty normal, but I am also getting a strange feeling sometimes which I can only describe as like a pencil pushing in the centre of my uterus. Like a strange pressure that lasts awhile then goes. I had it constantly with my other 3 pregnancies so it does worry me slightly. I am having an early scan at 7 weeks due to being a rmc but would love to hear from any ladies who have experienced something similar Hmm any advice would be amazing. Thankyou in advance xxx

Hey @Loobylou2929

Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy.
I had 3 MC's before falling pregnant a 4th time, I'm now 39 weeks. I had a lot of cramping in the 1st and 2nd trimester, feeling pulling is normal too. I think when you have experienced recurrent miscarriage you will be nervous and that's totally normal. All you can do is wait until your scan and hopefully all will be totally normal and you'll see a heartbeat.

Wishing you all the best.

Congratulations on your pregnancy Smile

I had 2 miscarriages, both at 10 weeks before a successful 3rd pregnancy. I totally understand how scared you must be feeling but try not to compare this one to the last three too much. The symptoms you've described sound quite normal so far.

Hopefully your early scan next week goes well and puts your mind at ease x

Good luck! Flowers

Are you taking aspirin? I'd start taking it. Won't do any harm

Congratulations and good luck OP!

I am 32weeks, after 7 MCs. I had a lot of twinges, cramping and moments in the first twelve weeks where I thought something bad is going to happen. Checking and double checking everytime you go for a wee is normal! To be completely honest I thought that would go after 12weeks, but it has continued throughout the pregnancy. But it does get easier when you can start feeling them move, kick. Just remember every pregnancy is different. Hope your scan goes ok next week x

Thanks so much ladies for your comments, it’s very reassuring to hear you all have had success after your miscarriages. So crap we’ve had to go through them! Im having lots of positive symptoms too though...my boobs are huge and very sore Blush im tired all the time, slight sickness but not lots. Im very bloated alot. Another symptom i have is as soon i wake up, im very crampy for about an hour then it eases off, is that normal too? I really appreciate your feedback alot, i haven’t told anyone other than DH atm due to it being so early. Chubbyhotchoc:- I did try asprin in my previous pregnancy but sadly it didn’t work. Thanks for mentioning it though Smile xxx

Hi, I'm in the same position as you. I have had 3 MC (one chemical, one at 7 weeks and twins at 10 weeks).

I found out today that I'm pregnant - should be 5+3. Neither me or my husband are getting excited as we are expecting the worst to happen again (but hoping for the best).
I started taking aspirin 75mg after ovulation this cycle. My consultant recommended it after my last MC. They also want me to have a scan at 6 weeks and if all is well they will start me on progesterone. 🤞🤞 I get that far.

I really hope this pregnancy goes well for you. Waiting for it all to go wrong and analysing every symptom is exhausting X x

Loobylou2929 · 25/08/2020 22:03

Hi @Quail15 maybe we could help each other through? Im actually 6 weeks tomorrow. They also wanted me to have my scan at 6 weeks but i wanted to wait until 7 weeks incase they don’t pick much up yet. I’m sure they will with you though, it’s just my way of thinking 🙈

I’m exhausting myself too, i think if i take my eye off it for one second the worst will happen! Silly woman Blush

I really hope your pregnancy works out for you too lovely. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼Xxx

Hi @Loobylou2929 supporting each other sounds great.
I have a gp appointment today as I'm supposed to start progesterone from 6 weeks which by my dates should be Saturday but I know I ovulated late this month so really I might only be 5 weeks 🤷 I think they will send me for an early scan to confirm my dates.

How are you feeling? X x

Loobylou2929 · 27/08/2020 11:51

I hope your app goes well today. Hopefully it will give you abit more peace of mind. Hopefully they give you an early scan also for extra peace of mind Smile

Is this your first baby? It is mine and I’m 35, so REALLY praying it works out this time. My scan is Friday the 4th sept so 🤞🏼🤞🏼For me!!! I should be 7+2 by then if my dates are right. So all being well should get a good view of everything.

Sending positive relaxing vibes to you Flowersxxx
