Hi everyone, I’m 8 weeks pregnant this week with baby #2. Up until last Thursday I had nausea, sore boobs and overwhelming fatigue. Something definitely feels weird and I no longer feel pregnant. I have a scan booked for Friday as they’ve been monitoring me anyway but I’m absolutely terrified to go to it. I know something bad will have happened.
Every old thread I’ve read where someone’s experienced the same has put the outcome of a loss.
Has anyone had the same experience? Good or bad so I can be realistic.
Friday seems ages away. Will ring the EPU this morning too to see if they’ll scan earlier.

Same happened to me around same days as you. Even made a thread...
My scan was all ok.
Nausea has returned on and off and tiredness too... it's less intense than before (it was really bad), but it's definitely here and ruining my days 😅
Just like you i can't shake that feeling off that something is wrong for symptoms to get better so early but sometimes it just how it is!
My friend has the same and had a healthy baby :)

Hello. I wanted to give two different experiences at 8 weeks - with one pregnancy I lost my morning sickness and then started to bleed. I lost my baby.

Next pregnancy get to 8 weeks again had a lull in my morning sickness and panicked. Booked scan and saw baby with heartbeat. Was about a week ahead of where we thought we were. Morning sickness came back a few days later and has followed that pattern.

So it could be good or bad - try and keep hanging on till the scan - and unless there are other bad signs like bleeding hold onto positive thoughts

This happened to me & it made me so anxious going to my 12 week scan but baby was totally fine. I just had no symptoms & didn’t really feel pregnant. Try not to worry!

Oh OP, I feel for you.

Truth is, it can go either way - it may mean nothing at all.

In my case, on my first pregnancy, my symptoms disappeared overnight at about 11 weeks. I'd no other symptoms until I was nearly 14 weeks, when I had a small bit of spotting. But I just 'knew' from 11 weeks. It was ultimately a MMC.

BUT as you see from PPs, it can work out well too. It's awful waiting but try to distract yourself as best you can until the scan 💐

Thank you, I guess it’s a waiting game. Spoke to EPU and they’ve moved the scan to tomorrow. I’m not even sure I’ll remember how to walk I’ll be so worried. Please keep fingers crossed it’ll be a positive outcome. Feel so anxious.

Congratulations @mumandcub just reading this thread as having the same issues, 8+5 and felt nauseous for the last two weeks but felt completely fine today and as twisted as it sounds it worries the hell out of you! So pleased you had a positive scan Smile! I had one on the weekend too and saw the heartbeat so hopefully everything will be fine for us!xx

Brilliant news @mumandcub that's so good to hear.
