Sleeping habits changed over night (excuse the pun)

So I'm normally a night owl. It wouldn't be uncommon that I would be awake until 2/3am with work at 10. Surviving off just a few hours sleep. I've been like this since my teens, now early 30s. Usually I would get about 7 but it would definitely not be unheard of to get far less.
However the first few weeks of being pregnant I was sleeping LOADS!
Even going to be "early" (mignight or earlier) and getting 12 hours a night, and then I would nap also so my fitbit was seeing days where I was getting 15/16 hours in any given 24h period.
Then about 3 days ago I felt quite sluggish during the day and decided to nap.
I just couldn't.
It was as if my little nap habit stopped dead in its tracks. I'm also back to 7 hours a night.
I know you're supposed be extremely tired during early pregnancy because you're making a brand new person but i just stopped oversleeping. I'm still tired so I don't know why I can't sleep the extra.
I'm only 8&2 so still early pregnancy I just don't understand.

So my question is, has anyone else experienced a sudden change to their sleeping habits resulting in less sleep?
I enjoyed my long sleeps and naps so this is slightly annoying to me.

My sleep pattern is all over the place during pregnancy. 34 weeks now and started waking up early which is unheard of for me.
