Pain under ribs

For a couple weeks now I've been getting pain under my ribs on my right side, mainly in the afternoon/evening. I assumed it's just my uterus moving up (I'm 24 weeks) but of course I've googled and it said it could be a sign of pre-eclampsia and now I'm worried. I don't have any other symptoms and my blood pressure is fine. Is it normal to have pain under your ribs?

Do you have any heartburn? Gastric issues? I had this at first they thought it was to do with my liver but turned out to be gastritis.
I was having such bad acid reflux I was drinking a bottle of gaviscon (large bottle) every few days, waking 6-10 times a night with my eyes watering with the pain in my throat.
Have you spoke to your midwife about it?

@Iheardit no I don't have heartburn or gastric issues. I don't have anything else to be honest. I haven't mentioned it to midwife as I just assumed I was sitting awkwardly and it only happens later in the day

I used to get terrible pain in my ribs when I was pregnant. I think it was partly due to me being quite short and the baby's position and partly because your ribs are stretched out during pregnancy but OMG, it was agony, I couldn't sit in the car for more than about 20 minutes without wanting to cry from the pain

I'm 26 weeks and keep getting pain under my left ribs. Mentioned it to midwife who was happy it was everything just getting stretched. If in doubt speak to your midwife

Yes I've been getting pain under my ribs quite a lot too, I think it's fairly common!

Very common. Mine was terrible but just the position of the baby.
