Brown/ pink discharge at 5 weeks

Hi.
Over the past 2 days, I've had some really random on/off brown and pink discharge.
Got my BFP on Tuesday, so by the dates I will be 5 weeks tomorrow.
Is this normal or should I be worried?!
I'm still feeling really sick, bloated as hell and I'm going to be a geriatric mum at the age of 40.
Any advice would amazing x

Week 5 is when I had it too, it's the old implantation blood, but it takes to about week 5/6 for it to work it's way out.
Do t panic, you'll get use to seeing brown discharge!

@33muma thank u so much, just worried about things going wrong....... does it matter if it's pink or is that normal too x

All of week 5 was brown and pink. The pink is a shock because we expect the worst, but it's normal.
I'm week 15, and the best advice I can give is wear dark knickers and stop checking the toilet paper after every wipe. Because I went half mad and it was a waste of emotions as was all fine.

@CrazyFooLady how are you getting on? I'm having the same thing, pink brown spotting and I'm about five weeks pregnant. Can't stop worrying.

Got my BFP yesterday and started the same today brown discharge. Maybe a slight pink to it can't help but put you on edge. So good to hear positive stories. Im only 4 week 1 day x

Well randomly enough, the spotting has stopped for now. I just feel even more sick instead lol.
I'm 6 weeks and 1 day now, but everything as far as I know is ok

@CrazyFooLady glad its stopped and your nausea is a good sign. How many days did you get spotting for?
