Constant Braxton Hicks - is this normal?

I'm a FTM and 37+6, I've had Braxton hicks from sometime now, but I'm the last day or so they have really picked up and been pretty uncomfortable. This afternoon they were constant for about 5 hours. Does this mean labour is more likely to start soon or is this very common for late third trimester? Appreciate that everyone is probably different but interested to hear other experiences. Not quiiiiite ready for baby to arrive yet haha xx

Are you dehydrated or very tired? Could be either or both of those, or could be labour!

I have been having the same, went to the maternity unit today for reduced movements (everything was ok!) and during the monitor could see I having Braxton hicks every 10 min, which I already suspected. They said it was quite often but if I don’t feel any pain it doesn’t really mean much..so still waiting! 39+3 here.

Towards the end yes, seemed to be constant. The end is near!

I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and been getting the same. On wednesday I had them very regularly all day from about 12pm until I went to sleep. Went to the hospital yesterday and same as PP they were showing up regularly on the monitor. I got a bit excited the other day, but now its sunday and nothing has happened yet! Think it's quite common to get them in late pregnancy unfortunately!
