Negative pregnancy test

Is it possible to have 2 negative pregnancy tests at 23 weeks? Not sure if I’m pregnant but if I was I’d be 23/4 weeks along, and I’m worried that the negative results might be false. Please help :(

Nope 23 weeks! Sorry I know this is crazyyyyy. No I only just thought I might be pregnant last week because my periods were a little irregular. I explained it in detail in my previous post.
I just read something about the hook effect and it’s troubling me because it said that it can cause false negatives

I think it's a question for your GP. There can be other reasons for irregular periods, so if there are no symptoms then I wouldn't jump to pregnancy being the cause.

I wouldn't jump to the pregnancy conclusion straightaway - particularly as very very few people are pregnant without realising at all until late pregnancy/when they deliver the baby. If you are concerned about irregular periods, there can be all sorts of reasons for this to happen and you would need to speak to a GP.

Besides, at 23 weeks, you would have some kind of bump (or at least be able to feel your uterus as a harder rounded shape in your abdomen - I was overweight when last pregnant and definitely noticed it even with extra tummy fat in the way). You'd also likely be feeling a baby moving now or within the next couple of weeks at least.

As it's a pregnancy forum, you made it sound like you were pregnant and worried about a loss due to a negative test.
This is something for your Gp, although saying it's a 'little' irregular might just be worth sitting tight... no ones is regular all the time.
