bubbalikescandy - both times with my previous labours i have had a show once labour had already started. i feel like i have been slowly losing my mucus plug over the past day or so but nothing like when i have had a show in the past.....i was amazed how much blood and gunk there was!!!! NICE!!!! giving birth is so dignified isn't it?!!

i am having pains all the time and i cant believe its not developing into anything. dont even want to tell dh anymore cos then he ends up asking me "is this it?" and i get annoyed..cos i really dont know!!!.........you would think cos i have done this twice before i would know what it feels like......but i still feel clueless!!!

When you cant talk anymore through the pain, then you know it's labour .

I hate being overdue, i hope i dont end up being induced, even went on a 3 mile walk yesterday to try and bring it on, just made me tired, so i think i will just sit around today and eat choclate as i feel sorry for myself!

Hello anyone who was due the end of September and who's still waiting. I'm 41+1 today and just had a sweep but I don't think it's done anything. Cervix not open, nothing so far happening on it's own. I just wanted a quick complain really.

emj and bubbalikescandy - i am 41+1 today too! thought i was getting a sweep today but didnt in the end...i am so pissed off!!! i now have an appointment for thursday to DISCUSS induction................surely they should be doing it then not DISCUSSING it!!!!! i hope both of your sweeps work for you, and you too lacking (if you havent already popped!)

i have been searching for more self induction techniques on the internet!!! acupressure is supposed to work, so i have tried that tonight and raspberry leaf tea! has anyone heard about inserting evening primrose oil capsules vaginally???!!! a MW suggested it to me today! havent tried it yet and not sure if i will or not to be honest, but i guess it could be worth a shot!!

oh well, off to bed now for another crap disturbed nights sleep!!!

emj and bubba - seeing as us 3 were all due on the same day shall we still go for having them on the same day? how about tomorrow? tuesdays are good for me.....my diary is free! what do you think? 9 o'clock in the morning for contractions to start? a nice civilised daytime labour???

well my baby was due 9th its now the 11th and not even a hint of labour. im also sick of calls and txts purely 2 say aint u ad it yet. add 2 that i feel like a lab rat i have tried every old wives tale 2 start labour and u know wot?.... they dont bloody work

emj/ bubba/ lacking - any news?

i FINALLY had my little girl yesterday afternoon!! she was 8lb 9 1/2oz and it stung like hell!!!!! feel so relieved its all over and i can finally cuddle her. i think it was the sweep that worked for me in the end.......but then again it could have been the acupressure ..............or raspberry leaf tea..................or going on the swings at the park!!!!!

hope you are all ok and cuddling babies as i type, or if not that the inductions go well.
